What is Atipical Parkinsonism? – What is Atypical Parkinsonism?
Atypical parkinsonism or Parkinson’s plus is a group of symptoms that are similar to Parkinson’s such as shivering, slow and uncertain speed, hardness, walking while moving, not having a movement of arms, etc. but in addition to this, there are more symptoms. Additional symptoms include posture instability and frequent fall (postural instability and frequent falls), not being able to form facial expressions etc.
The speed of increasing such additional symptoms is faster. In fact, Atipical Parkinsom is a neurological problem i.e. a word that describes a group of neurodygenetic disorders. Types of Atipical Parkinsom – Types of Atypical Parkinsonism
Atipical Parkinsom is divided into the following four parts –
1. Dementia with Lewy Bodies – It is the most common disorder of Atipical Parkinsom. It has difficulty in walking, moving, there is difficulty in thinking, understanding, there is difficulty in sleeping and not focusing on any subject. 2. Multiple System Atrophy- Multiple System Atrophy This is the second common disorder of Atipical Parkinsonism. It affects the speed and control of physical involuntary processes. Multiple system atrophy is separated from patients with Parkinson Disease-PD that contain characteristics such as orthostatic hypotension, sexual, bladder and bowel dysfunction, red-blue.
Symptoms such as the hand in multiple system atrophy, changes in skin color, sleep apnea, boweling of the head, bending the body, bending the body, difficulty in moving.

3. Corticobasal Syndrome- Corticobasal Syndrome It is a rare disorder of Atipical Parkinsmum. - Brain loss due to anesthesia drugs given at the time of surgery.
- Brain infections such as encephalitis and meningitis.
- Brain injuries in stroke or sports or accident.
- HIV/AIDS
- Wilson disease is a rare disease in which copper accumulates in liver, brain and other organs.
- Use of poison with carbon monoxide, mercury, or other toxic chemicals in the treatment of psychiatry or nausea.
Symptoms of Atipical Parkinsom – Symptoms of Atypical Parkinsonism
Acipical Parkinsom may have the following symptoms –
- Facial expression
- Memory of memory
- Hallucination
- Not being able to balance, fall again and again.
- Muscle contraction

Diagnosis of Atipical Parkinsom – Diagnosis of Atypical Parkinsonism

Although there is no accurate treatment of Atipical Parkinsom, it is still treated through medicines and therapy so that the patient can feel relieved, the details are as follows –
1. Medications – Medicines
(i) Let us make it clear here that no drug is approved by Food and Drug Association-FDA to control the symptoms of dementia but doctors sometimes use them “off label”. As an alternative, it can include Nupalajid (Pimavanserin).
(ii) Since Atipical Parkinsom also contains symptoms of Parkinson, doctors also use Levodopa medicine in Atipical Parkinsmum while they also know that Levodopa does not work in Atipical Parkinsnism, although the use of this drug can provide brief response from the patient. Levodopa’s influence ends as time passes.
(iii) For dystonia in the case of CBD, botox or botulinum toxin injections can be used in the muscles.
(iv) In the case of hallucinations in DLB, atapical antisotics can be used for which may be risk for safety or welfare.
(v) In DLB itself, drugs such as Excelon (Rewastigmine), Arisept (Deadpazil), Razadine (Galantamine) or Namenda (mementine) can be used in terms of memory and thinking.
(vi) Doctors can give a variety of medicines to prevent mood, behavior and sleep problems.
2. Therapy- Speech therapy, physio therapy, cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, etc. can be used in the treatment of atapical parkinism.
